Accessibility statement
DAF ICAM is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This site is developed to conform to the Revised Section 508 standards (36 CFR Part 1194), which incorporate WCAG 2.0 Level AA, and is tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
How conformance is maintained
- Automated testing
- Every change is scanned against WCAG 2.1 AA with axe-core in the delivery pipeline; the build fails on a violation.
- Keyboard and screen reader
- Pages use semantic landmarks and headings, a skip link, visible focus, and text alternatives for imagery, and are exercised with a keyboard only.
- Design system
- Interface components come from the U.S. Web Design System, whose components are built and tested for Section 508 conformance.
- Documents
- Program documents published under this contract are produced in accessible formats; legacy documents are remediated as they are migrated.
